Printing Process
Different
products require different printing methods, but all of our T-Shirts
and apparel are printed using the Direct Printing method. With Direct
Printing, our Downtown Threads T-Shirt designs are printed direct-to-fabric
with no transfers. The result is a matte image that moves with the garment
because the ink is actually embedded into the fabric for the ultimate
in wearability and comfort.

After a few washes, you will notice the great durability of Direct Printing. Since the ink is embedded directly into the garment, it means greater image staying power. So, our designs won't fade quickly like the cheap heat-transfer method, and they'll never crack and peel like the common screen-printed T-Shirts found in most retail stores.
